EducationLink Alternative for Boutique Education Agents
EducationLink’s own Pricing link opens Edvisor’s site. What the published numbers say for a 1–15 counsellor agency, where EducationLink is ahead of us, and where enrollo differs.
Short answer: if you run language-travel or multi-destination bookings and you want a school network to quote and apply from inside your CRM, EducationLink (now part of Edvisor) does something enrollo does not do at all. If you place students you already have and your money problem is commission and CAS/visa deadlines, enrollo is built for that and priced by counsellor band rather than by seat. One caution before any table: Edvisor's page prices in a bare “$” and never says which dollar that is, so read what follows as a comparison of pricing shape, not a converted total.

The first thing a buyer notices: the price is on someone else's site
Search for EducationLink pricing and you land on geteducation.link. Click Pricing in their own navigation and you leave the site. The link on both the homepage and the education-agents page points to https://edvisor.io/pricing?ref=geteducation.link (checked in the page source on 12 September 2026). There is no pricing page at geteducation.link/pricing — that URL returns 404 today.
That is not a trick. Edvisor acquired EducationLink; The PIE News reported it on 11 November 2020: “Vancouver-based booking platform Edvisor has acquired EducationLink and expanded its agency network by 500 agent users in Australia.” The same report said agencies would “search, quote, and submit applications directly to Edvisor's schools whilst continuing to use their EducationLink software.”
But here is the honest limit of what we can tell you. The Edvisor pricing page is Edvisor-branded and does not mention EducationLink by name anywhere. So we can say, and have verified, that EducationLink's own Pricing link sends you there. We cannot tell you that the Agency plan on that page is the EducationLink price, because neither company says so in public. Ask them to confirm in writing before you sign. We are not going to guess on your behalf.
What the published numbers actually say
From the Edvisor pricing page, read on 12 September 2026, the Agency plan reads: “$72/month”, “Billed annually”, “2 users included · +$36/user/mo”, and “14-day free trial · Cancel anytime”. Further down, the same page states additional users are “$36/user/month billed annually ($45/month billed monthly)”.
The other plans on that page — Starter at “$120/campus/mo”, Growth at “$360/campus/mo” and Scale at “$560/campus/mo”, each with a “$500 setup fee” — are priced per campus and sold to schools, not agencies. If you are an agency, those rows are not yours. It is worth saying out loud because the page puts them side by side.
Seat arithmetic for a 1–15 counsellor agency
Both columns below are billed annually. Edvisor Agency = $72 base, which covers two users, plus $36 for every user after that. enrollo = a flat band price with the counsellor seats included.
Read the currency line before you read the numbers. enrollo's prices are US dollars. Edvisor's pricing page writes its plan prices as a bare “$” and does not state the currency anywhere on the page — the only place it names one is an unrelated guarantee capped at “USD 500”. We are not going to assume the plan prices are the same dollar, because if they are not, every total in the right-hand column moves. Confirm it with them. What the table can show you honestly is the shape: one bill grows per head, the other does not.
| Counsellors | Edvisor Agency plan (billed annually) | enrollo (billed annually) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $72/mo — the plan includes two users; there is no one-seat price | $23/mo (Solo) |
| 2 | $72/mo | $63/mo (Team, up to 5) |
| 5 | $72 + 3 × $36 = $180/mo | $63/mo (Team, up to 5) |
| 10 | $72 + 8 × $36 = $360/mo | $119/mo (Agency, up to 15) |
| 15 | $72 + 13 × $36 = $540/mo | $119/mo (Agency, up to 15) |
enrollo's monthly-billed prices are $29, $79 and $149; the figures above are the annual-billed equivalents, published on our pricing page. We put our own numbers in the same table so you can check both sides in the same two clicks.
The shape matters more than any single row. On a per-seat plan your software bill grows every time you hire, which is exactly when cash is tightest — you hire before intake, and the commission for that intake arrives months later. On a band plan the bill steps once and then stops. At five counsellors, the seats you add cost more than the base plan itself.
Where EducationLink is genuinely ahead of us
These are not throat-clearing. Each one is a reason to buy them instead of us.
- A school network you can quote and apply from. Edvisor's agencies can “search, quote, and submit applications directly to Edvisor's schools” (The PIE News, 2020). enrollo has no course catalogue and no school network. If your day is building quotes from a catalogue, we do not replace that.
- Accounting integration. Their commission page advertises “Xero and Quickbooks integration” and “Automatic sync all agent commission invoices with automatic bank reconciliation”. enrollo has no accounting integration. Our commission statuses borrow that vocabulary, but nothing syncs to your ledger.
- Taking student money. They advertise “Receive student payments and give them a receipt. It takes 4 clicks” and “Track partial student payments”. enrollo does not collect student payments at all.
- Live exchange rates. They advertise “currencies updated every 10 minutes” and “Automatic foreign exchange calculation”. enrollo supports many currencies, but the rate is one you type in yourself and it stays until you change it. If you quote daily across currencies, theirs is the better tool for that job.

Who each one is for
We are not going to tell you EducationLink is for large agencies. Their own site says “Small to big international education agencies across the globe”, and a boutique agency is squarely inside that. The split is not size. It is what the software is arranged around.
EducationLink is arranged around the sale. Its own summary is “From student management system to accounting and commission” and “The all-in-one agency management system for international education agents”. Course search, quotes, student payments, receipts, insurance, FX, ledger sync. If the expensive part of your week is producing quotes and collecting money from students, that breadth is the product you want, and the per-seat bill buys something real.
enrollo is arranged around the lifecycle after the student says yes. One student, one record, every dated obligation on it: offer, deposit, CAS or I-20, visa, enrolment — and the commission attached to each, moving through Pending, Invoiced and Collected. It is narrower on purpose. It does not quote and it does not bank. What it does is stop a date from going missing and stop an earned commission from ageing quietly in a spreadsheet.
If you need both, you can run both, and some agencies will. That is a fair answer and we would rather give it than pretend otherwise.
What to ask before you sign either one
- Confirm in writing which plan an EducationLink customer is actually on, since the public pricing page does not name the product.
- Ask which currency the plan price is in. The page does not say, and at ten seats the difference is not small.
- Count your seats for next intake, not today's, and add the per-user fee before you compare.
- Ask whether the base plan's two included users can be reduced to one, if you are a solo owner.
- Ask what happens to your data on cancellation, from both vendors, in writing.

A note on what we could not check: Capterra's EducationLink listing returned 404 when we tried it on 12 September 2026, so nothing here relies on it. The agency-customer and agent-user counts in the 2020 PIE News report are six years old and we have not treated them as current.
